Sister Kim Marie Wolf is in her twelfth year as liturgist and classroom aide at St. Mary School, where she also did her student teaching back in 1979. She is a Franciscan Sister of the Sacred Heart, whose religious community has been a presence at St. Mary School since it opened over sixty years ago. Sister Kim graduated from the University of St. Francis with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. From there she taught first grade at a parish school near Mundelein, IL. After that, she was transferred to another rural parish near Fort Wayne, IN, where she taught first and second grade for five years. Her next assignment was for nine years teaching third grade in her hometown of Peru, IL. Beginning in 2002, Sister Kim taught second grade for six years at St. Paul School in Joliet. Sister Kim loves being a part of our community and continuing the presence of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart at St. Mary School.
