In fifth grade the students are starting their World's Fair projects. Each student will have the chance to research a particular country's history, culture, government, and geography. This project will help us wrap up all of the interesting places we have learned about this year as we share facts, food, and costumes at the first St. Mary School World's Fair. We had the chance to appreciate the diversity of our classmates as they shared their many talents at our annual talent show. In science we will be in the lab quite often as we become more familiar with the properties of matter and energy. We will soon be starting our book talks to encourage reading as we quickly approach our summer months.
