Things have been very busy in First Grade! We have been reading many interesting stories from our reading books and have completed three book projects so far. The students have been having a great time making and sharing their projects with the class. In Math, we have just completed fractions and will spend the next few weeks exploring money and time. In Religion we have been learning how the Holy Spirit is our helper. In Science, first grade has been learning about animal groups and their habitats. Last week the students had a wonderful time at Brookfield Zoo where they got to visit many of these animals up close. They also participated in a class about animal adaptations and got to create their own animal!
